| Greetings International University of Cataluña. I pronounce myself towards you with the intention of applying to your scholarship UIC at Barcelona, which from were I understand, grants financial aid that draws on the University’s own budgets and the sponsorships of companies and institutions with whom you collaborate. I aspire to course a degree in psychology for my undergraduate studies, and for me it would be an absolute gratificante opportunity. I hope that throughout this letter you can eventually consider me for your scholarship. I consider that the responsability, dedication and passion I’ve gained throughout my life can make me a great candidate for the application of your scholarship program. First off, I would like to begin by presenting my skills. I consider myself able to empathize and connect with people with no judgement at all. Also, throughout the years, I’ve developed an adequate listening and questioning skill which has allowed me to establish good relations with others. In addition, it has always been part of my interests not only how people behave but also the reason behind their behaviors. It is important to highlight that teamwork has not been an obstacle for me to get through tough situations both academically and socially. In the first place, during my school life I have participated in both volleyball and soccer teams, in which I have had complete commitment to, besides I got to improve communication with my teammates and manage attention and concentration control in order to have mental practice. In second place, during 7th grade I got to participate in my school’s students council as the representative of my class. This participation gave me a better understanding of how people’s minds work when working as an authority body of a community. In short, I strongly believe that the abilities and skills I’ve gained throughout my school life allow me to be positioned as a proper candidate to your scholarship. Not only have these skills taught me the importance of responsibility and commitment, but it has granted me with a successful formation as a human being to which I would like to pass on to others, as well. I am looking forward to hearing back from you! |
